This policy explains what personal information securitydogma.com (“Security Dogma”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to run the site, send the emails you ask for, and deliver the products you buy.

Summary
- We do not have user accounts, comments or advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
- If you sign up for a free download or our email list, we collect your email address through our email provider, MailerLite.
- If you buy a digital product, the purchase is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record. We never see or store your full payment card details.
- Some links are affiliate links (for example, to Amazon). The retailer may set its own cookies when you click.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers process basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how visitors find the site and how it performs. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we have not enabled Google advertising features.
Email signups. When you sign up for a free download or our email list, we collect your email address. Our email provider also records the date and time you signed up, the form you used, your IP address and approximate location, and whether you open our emails or click links in them.
Purchases. When you buy a digital product, Lemon Squeezy collects the details needed to complete the sale, such as your name, email address, billing country or address, and payment information. Lemon Squeezy shares order details with us (for example your name, email address, country, the product bought and the amount paid), but not your full card details.
Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Giving us information is voluntary. You do not have to provide any personal information to read the site. If you do not provide an email address, we cannot send you a free download; if you do not complete checkout, we cannot deliver a purchase.
How we use your information

- To deliver free downloads and send the emails you signed up for, such as new guides, resources and occasional offers for our own products.
- To deliver purchased products, keep records of sales, and meet tax and accounting obligations.

Our email list
When you request a free download, you join our email list. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell, rent or trade our email list.
Cookies
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies (such as
_ga) to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. - Security cookies: Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from bots and attacks.
- Signup forms: our email signup forms are provided by MailerLite, which may use cookies or similar technology to display forms and record signups.
- Checkout: Lemon Squeezy uses cookies on its checkout pages to process your purchase and prevent fraud.
- Affiliate links: when you click an affiliate link, the retailer (for example, Amazon) may set cookies on its own website to credit the referral. Those cookies are governed by the retailer’s privacy policy.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are not tracked by Google Analytics unless they accept. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site, forms or checkout work.

- Hosting: our web host stores the site and processes server logs.
- Cloudflare: content delivery and security.

- MailerLite: email signup forms and email delivery.
- Lemon Squeezy: checkout, payment processing, tax and product delivery. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for our digital product sales.
- Affiliate programs: including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
These providers process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. We only share what they need to provide their service.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only with the service providers listed above, when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Security Dogma, our users or others. If the site is ever sold or transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
How long we keep information
- Email list data: until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterward so your unsubscribe is respected.
- Purchase records: as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to handle your message.
- Server and security logs: for a limited period set by our providers.
- Analytics data: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics (we use the shortest standard option, 2 months, for user-level data).
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including the European Union, United Kingdom and US states such as California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit how it is used. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email. To make any other request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the supervisory authority in your EU country, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority.
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing (for example, under the GDPR), we rely on your consent for our email list, on contract for delivering purchases, on legal obligations for tax records, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site, and on your consent for analytics cookies where the law requires it.
Automated decisions, Do Not Track and sales of data
- We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
- Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for responding to it, our site does not change its behavior when it receives one. You can decline analytics cookies at any time using the cookie banner or the Cookie Settings link.
- We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and children under 16 should not sign up for our email list or make purchases.
